"Alpha!" A guard burst in through the door.

I growled at him. I had given strict orders to not be disturbed.

"It's Luna," he panted, his eyes wide in alarm.

I shot out of my seat. "Where is she?" Is she hurt? Is she in trouble? What happened?

"The beach cottage." Fuck. She wasn't in trouble; Nat and Max were.

"Goddamn—" Dimitri muttered but I was already out of the window and in my fur, running towards the beach cottage.

A growl tore through my throat.

Ava had been unpredictable lately. Ever since her faye side started growing stronger, she had started losing more and more of her temper. There was no telling what was happening over there.

I heard three wolves running behind me. Dimitri, Andrei, and Mikhail.

I ran harder. I needed to get there quickly.

In five minutes, I reached the cottage. I heard a commotion towards the back of the cottage so, without wasting more time, I ran there.

"No!" I heard Nat's bloodcurdling scream.
