Shock and seduction

Cedric looked at Sera's distressed face once again then he turned to look at the angry sneer on his son’s face. He made his decision then.

In a split second, he lunged forward, wrapped his hand around Michael’s shirt and roughly yanked him away from Sera, forcefully separating them.

Sera immediately bolted upright from the bed with a pale face, but when the world around her began to swim dangerously, she was forced to sit back and take a moment to catch her breath.

But no matter how many deep breaths she took, her poor heart was still racing in panic.
