The Fear of Michael

As Sera watched Alistair storm around the room in a rush to get dressed, she could see that he was fucking Pissed with a capital P!

His light brown eyes were sharper and more icy than usual, Even his beautiful sharp jaw was ticking with irritation.

To see the normally big bad cold king like this..... looking this upset...... it made her feel more than a little worried.

Was all this tension just because Michael was free?.

Don’t get it wrong, Sera really understood the gravity of the situation and the danger that Michael’s escape posed on her life.

But did Alistair really think Michael would come back to hurt her? Was he really that dangerous?

She shivered at the thought…

It didn’t help that the memory of Michael's last attack was still fresh in her mind. If Cedric hadn’t come when he did, Michael would have.....

No, no no no! she was not going to think about that. That was in the past now.

Alistair's voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Lock yourself in my room, Sera," he instruc
