I was not sure what emboldened me to say that but I bit my lip nervously as Jasper’s gaze locked on mine.

A low growl left his lips as he looked at me with those smoldering hot eyes and replied,

“Seduce me”

I blinked furiously trying to understand if he was not playing tricks with me. This could not be real. He did not say that.

I was hallucinating.

“Excuse me?” I blurted out, realizing he had said something highly sexy without making it sound like it...like an alpha would claim his title as if it was merely for decoration.

“You want the job, right? You want to volunteer for the task. Show me how worthy you are”

Jasper quipped, his voice still having the same husky tone to it. He gave me an even look and waited for my reaction or rebuttal.

I swallowed nervously as butterflies suddenly fluttered in my stomach.
