I'll Give Myself To You

It had been days since Audrey had told Emma that Diego would die.

She paced around the dungeon with bare legs, limping.

The dungeon was wet and dirty but she didn't care. She was greatly concerned about Diego.

There was slight movement from outside the dungeon and her head snapped to look outside.

Her eyes widened in expectation, thinking Mia the maid was coming to see her.

However, a few seconds later, a mouse ran through the iron bars toward Emma and she screamed, "Ahhhh."

She jumped as the mice ran past her legs and she fell to the ground with a loud thud.

She had been staying in the dungeon for weeks and she still had not gotten used to the number of mice that ran around.

She was deathly scared of them!

"What's going on in there?" The guard stationed outside yelled and Emma shook.

"It's nothing..." She was quick to say as she didn't want the guard to come into the dungeon.

She didn't want to get whipped mercilessly again.

"Better! You better sit still. I don't noise." The guard
