Weather For Two

The following week on Monday, Emily waited for Rogan to show up as he promised her the previous week to return but Rogan was nowhere to be found. He wasn't picking her calls and she felt that some thing must have happened to him.

She was scared for him and wanted to use her friend's phone but they had gone for night class. Soon the weather changed, and heavy rain began to fall. Emily stood with her hoody, promising not to leave the rain until she saw Rogan.

Her phone soon rang, and when she picked it out of curiosity, she hears a familiar voice which says, "I'm standing right behind you."

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Emily's heart skipped a beat. She slowly turned around, her eyes filled with a mix of relief and concern. Standing behind her was Rogan, drenched from head to toe, his face mirroring a combination of exhaustion and apology.

"Rogan!" Emily exclaimed, a mixture of emotions rushing through her. "Where have you been? I was so worried!"
