GIGI’S POV

It began to get darker as the journey continued.

I had no idea where I’m helping her with her basket filled with vegetables to.

I despised seeing old grown adult especially the ones that couldn’t stand and walk properly carry loads that are heavy for them. Old people are meant to sit back at home and relax not to roam around stressing themselves.

“Haven’t we gotten there ma’am.” I asked, hoping for a positive response.

No response, she didn’t utter a statement back.

“Have we gotten to your final destination.” I asked again, thinking she didn’t hear me.

I spoke with a very low and calm voice since she was an older woman, maybe that was why she couldn’t hear my voice.

Truly, miss Kate taught us back them at Eton college that old people do have hearing problem . They hardly hear properly, which is caused by failure in the sound transmission.

“Hello ma’am.” I voiced out again.

It got obvious that she was ghosting on me on purpose. I stopped trying to chat with her as I continue
