Raphael enters behind us but stands up against the wall just inside the door. I face Rania as Zachariah and Malik start to talk between them, and say,

"Do you think the guys would allow us to take that walk around the castle?"

She smiles and looks over at Malik and Zachariah. She then turns back to me as she gets to her feet. She holds out her hands and I take them. She pulls carefully, helping me stand. Once the pain has passed, I look over at Malik and Zachariah, who have stopped talking and are now watching us. Malik is the one to ask,

"Sweetheart, where are you going?"

He seems to get a faraway look on his face for just a moment, and then he goes back to talking with Zachariah. A few moments later, there is a knock on the doorframe. I look over just as he speaks.
