For werewolves and Lycans, our first shift is normally done on their 18th birthday or for ones like me, Raphael, and Zaire. We went through ours on our 15th birthdays. This shift is the most painful, especially for one that has been changed and was not born, if one does not have their mate by their side to see them through it. I feel the moment she feels comfortable and wants to play; she pushes me away from her and then runs. I laugh, but it comes out as a slight sneeze. I then take off running after her. I watch as she runs the obstacle course and when she returns to the grass area; she chases me for a little while and then I turn it around and chase her. Once I have had enough, I chase her down and catch her, making us roll over the ground. When we come to a stop, I make sure I am laying over her. I shift and smile as she does at the same time. I growl and turn as I remove a silver arrow from my upper arm. With all the anger and adrenalin running through me, the small sliver of silver has no effect, as I then lose control of Morpheus. I grow more in size, my claws get longer and sharper and my eyesight enhances, allowing me to focus, dodge and hone in on where the next arrow is coming from. Without really realising it I let out a large wave of my Royal Alpha power as I let out a very loud and a very powerful, "HHOOWWLL!!" I look at Jack and realise that he may even have a little Alpha blood in him, just by the way he is standing strong and confident in front of me. I may even make him an Alpha of his own pack when he gets older, but for now, he is happy in his current position. Morpheus growls a little in my head at my judgment, but he doesn't elaborate. I shake my head at him and turn my attention back to Jack.I go to say no on the grounds that they are still young, but then change my mind. Depending on what security this boss of the human hunters has on this warehouse, I may be able to use them to get the advantage and get inside. I smile and cut whatever Jasper is about to say to them. "Okay, we will need some quick Intel when we get there. Do you think you three could handle that? We would need to know how many of our females are in there. How many human hunters are walking around inside and outside the walls? And if there is anywhere we can enter with the least amount of both noise and exposure?
