Twenty-Two
Valentino growls again as he slaps me hard before turning his back to me and facing the young girl that is still standing just inside my cell. He says something to her; she nods, and he leaves. She follows him out but is back a short time later, carrying a bottle of something and a tube of something else. As she gets closer to me, she whispers,
"I'm not meant to talk to you, but you probably wouldn't trust what I was trying to give you if I didn't..." I just watch her as she continues to get closer, she takes the lid off of the bottle and moves it to my lips as she says,
"This is a healing tonic. It will help with the pain. It will also give you what you need to stay alive."

With the help of Jade, Raphael, and Zachariah, I slowly make a reasonable recovery. Jade helped me to get my attitude and confidence back. As we built on our friendship, Raphael became my personal trainer and helped me trust a guy other than Zachariah. We started with some light stuff in the bedroom. I watch in the mirror at her face as it gets that normal look of disgust before she covers it. Once back at the mansion, Zaire carries my bags up to Zachariah's room while Jade heads to the kitchen for something to eat. It is parked out front, there will be another car following with your guards in it for the night...""Raphael, I don't need guards. I have told you that before..." I melt into him as he deepens the kiss. I don't realize that we are back until Zachariah starts to move, getting out of the car, still holding me in his lap, and then carrying me bridal style into the mansion. He doesn't break the kiss as he makes his way through the mansion and up to his room.He opens the door and steps inside, shutting the door behind him with his foot. He then moves further into the room and slowly lowers my legs, placing my feet carefully on the floor, but still holding me tight up against him. He then slides his hands up my back to my shoulders and then down my arms, hooking his fingers into the short sleeves of my dress and taking it with them. Once his hands reach mine, he lets go of my dress and it falls the rest of the way to the floor. I hesitantly lift my shaky hands to his chest and slowly start to undo the buttons on his shirt.Once I have undone all the buttons, I slide my hands under the material going up his chest and over his shoulder

He smiles as he then sits up, wrapping his arms around me, pulling me tighter to him so that I am straddling his thighs closer against him so that I can feel his excitement rub up against me. He then kisses me, first soft and gentle, but it isn't long before he deepens it, making it more and more dominant while wrapping his arms tighter and tighter around me...I wrap my arms around his neck and return his kiss; I let out a soft moan as he slightly moves his hips, but he then lets out a low growl and gets to his feet, still holding me tight to him but allowing my feet to touch the ground. Breaking the kiss, he looks over my shoulder. I feel a blush of embarrassment cover my face, so I bury it in his chest. I don't hear who is behind me, but I do hear Zachariah as he whispers into my ear,"Work beckons, I will see you later my dear..."He gives me one last fleeting kiss as he lets me go, steps back from me, and then walks around me, picking up his shirt as he hea
