I am not really surprised when Zachariah doesn’t return before I get ready and climb into bed. I slide my fingers over my scars and then over the mark on my shoulder and wonder if it really is his mark or if I am just wishing that it is his. As he is a very handsome man and if what he was saying is true a prince, but I am no princess.

Even though they no longer bother me, a princess would have a flawless body, not one covered in scars. Even with his soft touch and kisses, I am not worthy of a man such as him. I feel my heart break just that little bit more at my thoughts and I allow the darkness of sleep to finally embrace me.

**NIGHTMARE**
