*** As Lazza said, I was suddenly a pet. Being a maid meant I was turned to being someone's pet. They instructed me on what I was supposed to do. I also met Clara, one of the maids who I took over from. She explained about the job. I was to serve meals, be available whenever the boss needed me, and entertain him. Preferably, stripping or lap dancing. After I was given all I needed, I let Clara do the job for the night. Everything felt like rubbish to me. Once everyone had left to serve their masters, I remained in the main kitchen. I sat at one table in the massive kitchen. I understood their need to have such an enormous modern kitchen; they made a variety of food. The maids had to push trolleys to the respective wings to serve the Lazza family members. Lazza carried the family name as the boss. No one was allowed to call him by his real name. So his real name remained mysterious. Settling with a plate of saffron pasta and veggie salad, I ate. Who knew what would happen next? So, I needed to wolf down my food before the devil decided to ruin my evening. Marco sabotaged my thoughts. I hoped he was busy finding me. The food couldn’t flow well because of the painful lump that settled in my throat. Thinking about everything brought tears to me. I shook them off. There was no time to cry. I needed to be strong and stick to the plan. I stuffed my mouth with more food. Never thought I would miss my mum’s cooking. I missed the way we would share meals. Never in my life had I ever thought I would miss hearing my parent's noises as they fought. I missed cleaning their messes. To think of everything, Dad was the source of all this as well. He knew Marco, and finding them in Dad’s office meant they had some businesses together. Some movements caught me snapping out of my thoughts. I whipped my head to where it emerged, only to meet the face I did not desire to see. Romeo. Frustration shot to a high level. It had only been a day but Mister's grinning face had been making it feel like ages. To be honest, I was tired of seeing him. I lost my appetite, so I left. It wasn’t time to deal with him. I brushed beside him and went to the door but he stopped me. Of course, he had to, because he came to ruin my night with his presence. He suffocated me with his mere existence. “You refused to do what I instructed.” Anger raced in his voice “What was that?” I asked. No one enlightened me about Romeo instructing anything. He turned to me. “I want you to be mine.” He declared, and my brows flashed upward. “Serve me and I will make you mine.” For a second, I thought he was joking, but the bastard had a serious expression on him. “When you show the effort that you will be obedient, I will let another woman serve you. You will be the lady—” “Okay. Okay.” I breathed. We needed to clear things up because he did not seem to know me. “There must be something you are missing. I don’t belong here. Soon, I will leave. I am sure my parents are doing all they can to solve this issue.” He stared for a while before a chuckle emerged. I found nothing entertaining in my statement. “You are clueless.” He began striding toward me. “You were sold to us. You are here to pay for someone's mistakes.” “You know nothing!” “Really?” He cocked a brow. “You are a mere maid. But if you behave and do what I tell you, I will change that. You will also have the privilege of eating at the same table as me. But first, show your loyalty.” “No, thank you. I would puke sharing a table with people like you. And trust me, the boss said my parents can get me out of here. Unless no one informed you.” He laughed. God, I hated him so much. “You are just stupid. I understand. Now,” he suddenly wore a serious look. “Let’s begin by seeing you.” His eyes raked my body, making me step behind. “What do you mean?” “Your body. Strip.” He declared, causing my blood to rush insanely. He noticed my shock and smiled. “No, don’t worry, no one will walk here.” “No. I,” I swallowed. “I am not doing that.” Anger dashed in his eyes. God had to help me because I wasn’t ready to fight with Romeo again. He wore a face that had me shivering. “What was that?” he asked. “I said, I won’t strip. Why would I?” “I said I will make you mine and I have the right to look at your body to make sure there is nothing fake about your body parts. So, start stripping or I will tear those garments off your fucking body.” I moved away again, my back hitting the kitchen island. Things had turned darker. Every second had to get me into a mess. This one looked serious, and I was trembling, knowing I needed to defend myself and not let him do it. “You keep me for another fucking second—” “I won’t do that.” I declared, sighting the wrath building inside him. He was back again, the monster who almost broke my leg, the animal that afflicted my breast. He was back. This time, as Doctor Lucia said, he looked determined to do worse. His steps towards me echoed in my ears, causing my heart to pound loudly. My eyes scanned my surroundings. I could use a spatula to keep him away so I could run, and then my eyes fell on a set of kitchen knives. “I fucking saved your life back there. Do you think that man couldn’t have killed you?” He towered over me. “You must respect my words. Strip for me, and even if I say you open your legs for me, you will do.” That got on my nerves. It disgusted me to the point that I could only see blood. My hands itched to put him in his place. If he loved seeing blood, I could help him see actual blood flowing from him. “This is the last time—” “I am not stripping and you won’t make me what you think you want!” That touched a sore part in him. I had seen which knife to grab. The moment Romeo stepped in like a hungry wolf, I immediately grabbed a knife. With my eyes shut, I pushed it to him, a scream leaving my lips with sobs. “Leave me alone!” He had grabbed my shoulders, but his hands slackened and slipped off. I gasped for air, releasing the knife that felt stuck, then slipped away. My breath stuck in my throat. “F-fucking slut!” He gritted the words, and I had to open my eyes because he could have been holding a knife to me. My trembling legs carried me away again when I met some blood surging from his stomach. The knife. I stabbed him. My brain switched off and the next I was running. I did not know where I was running off to. My eyes blurred from the tears as I bumped into people on my way. I stabbed him. That rang in me as I escaped. Some guards tried to stop me, but I pushed them off. I saw a door ahead of me; I ran to it, pushed it open, and got inside. When I locked the door, I leaned against it and resumed sobbing as I caught my breath. He made me do it; he pushed me to stab him. Some footsteps echoed from outside, and I held my breath. Looking around to see where I was to run, my eyes fell on the last person I expected to see. Lazza. He stood by a staircase across from where I was. His hands slipped inside his sweatpants pockets. The cold eyes held on me. Someone gripped the door, and I jumped away. The door opened, and Matteo walked in. He gave me a look of disapproval before facing Lazza. “Boss, we have a situation.” He reported, and I shook my head. I drifted my gaze to Lazza, whose eyes remained fixed on me. “Start talking!” he said coldly, making calculated steps towards us. I stepped away while shaking my head. “He … tried to touch me—” “APPREHEND HER!” He yelled then left the room before I could even explain myself.Alessia Romero------------I stabbed someone. That meant I was just like them. My hands were coated with sin. Caught in Mafia affairs turned me into a cold-blooded murderer. The sight of the knife stuck on his stomach played in me. All night, I stayed up because I couldn't bring myself to shut my eyes. Everything would flash before my eyes. Blood.Guilty consumed me every second that ticked. Being locked in a cold lonely basement did not allow me to know what was happening out there. Did I kill him? What if I did?But he deserved it. I loathed him with every fiber in my body. He disgusted me to even think he could be comfortable asking me to strip for him. I wanted to chop off his balls and shove them into his filthy mouth. Who even gave him the name? It did not suit any sense of the human being he was.I exhaled to release the feeling stuck in my chest. I felt guilty but again, he deserved it. I wondered when it was all gonna end. Maybe I was stuck in the situation forever. It hit h
Alessia Romero ----- Going for a damn day, and a night without a circus felt unreal. It scared me more than fighting with one of the evil family members. After the auction that went wrong, we came back to the mansion. Though I stayed in the dormitory as instructed by Matteo, I still thought Lazza or his brother Romeo would launch their demons again. They did not, actually, I nevert saw them ever since. Maybe someone needed to stab Romeo for the peace of everyone in the area. That wasn't supposed to be something to cheer me up, because I wouldn't know what they were cooking under my nose. Perhaps to assassinate me in front of everyone as a life lesson, or to torment me to the last breath. I sighed at that, rolling over on the squeaky metallic bed to get a good position so I could continue sleeping. Though I was starving, that should have been what woke me up, but no, it had to be the door flying open, the knob slamming on the wall as the noise echoed in the whole dormitory. The
Alessia Romero---------"Hey, last born, follow me, we have a meeting." Clara walked into the dorm. I had finished dressing up after a long cold shower, the weather was hot as it was summer."Last born?" I rose an amused brow."Yes, you are the only teenager here? I heard you are nineteen." She was busy throwing some nuts in her mouth. How was she so okay while in hell?"Hmm, a good reason for me to be out of here," I uttered bitterly. "Anyway, what's the sudden meeting?""There was an adjustment with the working schedule. You'll be introduced to other workers to avoid problems. That also includes the Lazza family members. They will be there.""I don't want to see their faces!" I gritted as we bolted to the exit.We walked to the west wing, it appeared that the west wing was where all the activities occurred. The east wing was the Mafia boss' private wing and Sofia and Romeo occupied the south and North wing. Some soldiers were in the room, the same as the other four ladies we shared
Rodion Konstantin------A buzz in my phone caught my attention. It was a reminder of an event I was required to attend that night. Some businessmen in the country invited me to some occasional events. Some involved a good amount of money and in others, I could walk away with a wealthy property.Running a strong mafia team put me at a high demand. I had several human beings who paid a good amount of money for my protection. For some politicians who I happen to play dirty for them to win the elections, they kept me close because their lives and career lay in my hands.I concentrated back on my laptop doing some checks on my businesses. Money defined my line of duty, that was what everyone involved with the Lazza affair knew. Some of workers needed that reminder, because I hated to see the profit margins going down.I took a sip of cold whiskey.People worshiped Lazza for their game. You involve Lazza, you win battles. That's how I played. I loved it clean, and a simple mistake meant de
Alessia Romero --------------- "It's her turn!" His declaration caught my body frozen. For a second I thought he was kidding until the lady began freeing my hands. It scared me because for him to untie me meant I would hate what was to happen more than I hated being tied up. My heart raced at the situation. I could feel myself trembling even before I got what I asked for. Tears blinded me to imagine myself sucking one of the dicks. Sickness emerged inside me and I turned to Lazza. "You can't do this." I murmured but he had busied himself with a glass of whiskey. “Come on, you can't do this.” My voice grew. “Get her on stage, quickly!” He yelled at the lady who had been releasing my hands, once she freed me, she grabbed my hands and handcuffed me. “What are you doing? Hey—” “Shut the fuck up!” Lazza launched on me, I could have jerked away but I was scared of what awaited me than his face. The girl freed my legs and gripped me, pulling me to get up. I fought, sitting back on t
Alessia Romero ----------- ricco sfondato We were in Spain, Madrid. Those were the perks of being filthy rich and owning a private jet. They expected our arrival because as soon as the jet landed; they ushered us into a car that drove off to where the party was. A red carpet event. It was a surprise to see that a Mafia demon could attend a decent party that didn't involve cigars and bullets. One could not tell that he was a monster in a dark tuxedo. Everyone idolized his arrival. Many guests were drawn to his arrival, and I was surprised to see him take the time to chat with them. I followed his lead, stopping whenever he stopped, waited for him to finish his chit-chat, and then moved with him to another spot. Sometimes he would speak Spanish to some group of people. It sounded so fluent in his mouth. Everyone looked expensive. The ladies wore labeled gowns that exuded nothing but elegance. The gents were in suits and tuxedos. Alessia Romero-----------Gallo Enzo Salvatore.Marco GalloEverything had started to make sense. The more I let my brain get invaded by everything that happened in the event, the more I saw sense in it.Salva mentioned his full name, Gallo Enzo Salvatore. Marco was Marco Gallo. They were brothers like the Lazza mentioned. Marco was a liar. He knew his family was linked to the mafia or whatever, but he never mentioned to me.He did something to the Lazza family, something that got me into the dirty game.I exhaled shakily. But again, The Lazza called him Marco Vi.Who was I to trust?Salva knew a lot about the Lazza family, so I needed to find him and talk to him. After I succeeded in escaping the Lazza's wrath, he ordered me to get back to the event and join his men. They say, karma is a real bitch and that was confirmed by the scene I was witnessing. He was tasting the poison that he used to offer to those innocent people out there. I wondered if he knew it was painful to die before he pulled the trigger and murder souls in a cold blood.I had a heart, but it was beating at a malicious degree when it came to the man in front of me. He needed to taste the pain. Maybe his death would mean salvation for me and others.I took advantage of the situation. I gunned to his office table to hunt for something that would be useful. Most importantly, a phone.I could make a call to Carina and inform her about my misfortunes or better still, call my father, he would make quick arrangements for me to be liberated. The things on the table were neatly arranged.
