Chapter 9: Sera

Sera couldn't help it; her jaw dropped wide open as she glanced around Asher. The gate opened, and he slowly drove up the cobbled driveway toward the massive white mansion. It was something you would read about in a novel. The home was beautiful, white, and cream, and everything was magical.

From the pillars in the front of the house lit by lamps hanging ornately from the stone walls. Everything was so intricate yet simple simultaneously, and a warm light from within lit up every window. Asher lived in a damn castle.

They pulled around up the circled drive, and a small fountain ran in the middle of the split staircase that traveled to the front door. She could stand outside for hours and still not see every detail carved into the building.

"It's beautiful." She whispered as Asher got off the bike and held his hand to her.

"That's what my grandfather thought." He said as she grabbed his hand and slid off the back of the bike, her thighs slightly numb from the rumb
