Chapter Eight

Alek woke up way earlier than usual. Sierra was observing her from their room. For someone who just lost his job, he was acting too busy with his phone.

He didn't look like the Alek he fell in love with. He looked like a businessman.

Sierra's eyes were on his body. Admiring every inch and observing every prominent vein. At the same time, wondering how he could easily make this man kneel with a single attack.

He may be bigger, but she knows she is stronger. She hated all the martial arts training—the boxing, the karate, and all those things. In the end, she had to admit that it was worth it. Knowing well that she could easily inflict pain on someone who hurt her.

Gone were the slow mornings. She messed up her hair to make her seem more soft-looking. Sierra looked into the mirror, her perky nipples peeking at her thin nightgown. Like one of her thorns, she was ready to use her beauty for something dangerous.
