Chapter 47~Another Woman

Eve didn't call Axel to pick her up even though he had told her that she only needed to call him if she needed anything.

She didn't... choose to walk in the park behind the hospital even though she knew that there were many people there that morning and there would most likely be no danger even if she cried in a garden chair all day.

She took a taxi to Axel's mansion even though it meant she had to spend a lot of money because his mansion was... very far from the city. The taxi driver was confused when he got Axel's address, but she didn't want to explain anything and chose to sit quietly in the passenger seat after she said that she would pay whatever the driver needed as a fare.

Axel's mansion was far away—hidden behind a pleasant-looking forest when viewed from the car window.

It was Christmas in three days, and... this would probably be the first Christmas Eve spent at Axel’s mansion. Maybe she should ask Axel to buy a Christmas tree so that his gloomy mansion would get a little l
