Chapter 48~Jealousy

As it always happens, Eve woke up when Axel was no longer beside her.

She was a bit surprised to see that she had slept for so many hours that it was almost time for dinner.

Her stomach was hungry because she hadn't eaten lunch and, this morning, had only eaten a few slices of apple pie that Axel had fed her because she was in a hurry to leave for the hospital and didn't want to be late.

She... didn't get her morning sickness as bad as usual, and that was kind of nice because she didn't know what to tell Axel if he saw her always running to the bathroom after waking up in the morning. However, of course, she still gets it every now and then, but she handles it so well that Axel doesn't suspect anything.
