Her Father

Isadora and I were out shopping for nursery items when she noticed we were being followed. We ducked into another store and sure enough the middle-aged man followed us. He looked to be about the same age as Elsalvador and he was dressed very dapper. He was definitely mafia. As we wandered around he followed us. I was about to go into the next aisle when he approached me. “ Child, you remind me of someone. May I ask what your mother’s name is?” He asked as he stared at me.

I looked at him and then at Isadora. “ I-I’m sorry but, do I know you? Why are you following me?”
