Chapter 89: Second Chance

As I was deeply involved in the kiss with Avyaan, I heard Avyaan calling my name, completely panicking.

I opened my eyes, just to witness a huge beam of light from a huge vehicle, blurring my vision.

"AAAHHH!" I cried out in panic.

And in a matter of seconds, I found myself loosing my balance and falling on someone. I heard loud honking and the vehicle passing by.

I heard Avyaan's voice.

I slowly opened my eyes, and looked at Avyaan. He fell on he ground, while I was over him. It felt like he purposely did that to save me falling on the concrete ground.

"Avyaan!" I cried out.

I immediately got up, he supported me to stand up properly and then himself got up.

"Shona! Are you okay?" He asked, his voice filled with fear and panic.

I looked around, not being able to comprehend what just happened. I was breathing heavily and looking around as I somewhat concluded what just happened.

Avyaan's quick reflexes saved my life.
