"Who is that?"

"I don't know. The person wouldn't speak." I shrugged throwing the phone back on the bed. If not because Annie told me to pick up the call, I wouldn't have moved anywhere near the phone. I was enjoying my time on the bed when her phone decided to turn my ears deaf from the vanity mirror. After disrupting me, making me get down from the bed, and trekking miles to the vanity mirror, the person ended up not saying anything. The audacity of whoever the person was.

I crashed back into bed, leaning my back on the pillow connected to the bedboard. "It's an unknown number. If the person is serious, he or she would call again." Annie said after checking the phone. She set it on the nightstand and then joined me in bed.

"So..." she started fixing her eyes on me.

"So, what?" I questioned brows creasing. "Tell me about your date. All the details."

I didn't resist rolling my eyes. "First of all, it is not a date. Secondly, it is not a date because we only talked business."
