Mia’s pov

I took in a deep breath from the bunch of flowers which I’ve been holding against my chest since the moment it got gifted to me. It still felt like a dream, and my brain was yet to wrap around it, which is probably why I was still clutching it like it was gonna disappear any time I let go of it. If I was acting weird to Lorenzo, he didn’t point it out, or perhaps, he didn’t mind.

As we were exiting the museum, one of the workers who had previously welcomed us in stepped forward and presented Lorenzo with a bunch of flowers which I assumed were already arranged by Lorenzo before hand. When he handed it to me, it felt like all the silly dreams I used to had in the past were coming true all at once.
