Mia’s pov

Lorenzo was still territorial over me, but he had significantly reduced his security on me. It was definitely still there, but it wasn’t a hundred percent. I was perched on a stool in the kitchen with a small pair of scissors which I was using to trim my flowers.

After our first date, Lorenzo had gotten me flowers a few more times and I loved receiving them each time. Each time he handed them to me, they made me feel like a princess and I loved that feeling so much.

Cat was preparing food here in the kitchen for a while now which is why I’m currently doing this so I could keep her company and also get to spend some time with her because it’s nice to spend time and talk to someone that wasn’t Lorenzo every now and then.
