Mia’s pov

“What would you like to order?” Lorenzo asked, brow arched as he turned towards me. I pursed my lips and shrugged my shoulders.

“Anything.”

We were currently in his car. After Lorenzo had killed that person, I informed him I didn’t feel like going over to a restaurant any longer. He had suggested we order something and eat it right here in the car and I hadn’t complained.

As he busied himself with the rest of the order, I let my mind wander away, mind thinking about a bunch of random things. Once Lorenzo was done with the call, he pulled up into the highway once again and began to drive forward.

“Where are we going?” I asked after a few moments. He let out a scoff and threw me a glance.

“Oh so now you’re talking to me?” He mused and I rolled my eyes before turning away from him.

“I wasn’t not talking to you.” I mumbled and he snorted once again.
