"How are your people?" Martha asked.

Annah had met her in the large hallways, giving instructions to some of the junior staff on what to do and how to go about their daily business for that day. Since she was the eldest, it was only wise for her to be the one to give them the instructions.

"They are fine, okay actually." Annah smiled.

She had spoken to them, hours ago and after the call, she didn't even know what to expect. She had no idea whether they would accept her and Connor's request or if they would simply pass on it but whatever it was, she knew that she had to respect their decisions because they knew what was best for them.
