"Who could that be?" Annah asked.

After everything that had happened, she was a bit scared and paranoid. Earlier, Kate had gone inside to grab something and as she walked back into the living room, Annah couldn't believe that she was holding a love gun.

"Kate…" Annah whispered.

"No time Annah, get under the table." Kate instructed.

Without wasting another time, Annah did as she was told, going under the table so that she hid herself properly from whoever it was that was knocking so rudely at the door.

"Who is it?" Kate asked.

There was no answer which just heightened both of their anxiety. What were the odds that whoever was behind that door didn't want to kill them?

"I said who is it?" she asked again, this time more harshly.

"Kate, I think we need to…" Annah said.

She couldn't complete her words because as soon as she said that, the knock on the door intensified. Kate cocked her gun again, getting ready to unleash the beast inside of her.
