Fiona Pov

As I walked into my dorm room, I saw Marcus sitting on my bed, scrolling through his phone. I was taken aback and immediately let out a scream. I had no idea how he got into my room without me noticing. Marcus looked up and saw the fear in my eyes, he quickly put his phone down.

"Hey, it's just me," he said, trying to reassure me.

I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down. "How did you get in here?" I asked, my voice shaking.

"I asked your roommate for the key," he replied.

I was still taken aback. "You shouldn't have done that. You can't just come into my room like this," I said, my voice rising again.

"I know, and I'm sorry. I just wanted to see you," he said, looking up at me with those brown eyes I used to find so charming.

"Well, I'm not ready to talk to you yet," I said firmly. "You need to leave."

He looked surprised, and a hint of hurt flickered across his face. "But I thought we were going to be closer when we got here," he said softly.
