Chapter 141

Fiona pov

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window, and for a moment, I forgot about the troubles of yesterday. As I stretched my arms and legs, I felt grateful that it was a new day and that yesterday was over. I slowly got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom to start my day.

As I stood in front of the mirror, I took a deep breath and reminded myself that today was a new beginning. I turned on the shower and let the warm water wash away the residue of yesterday. I let the water run over my head and down my body, and I felt the tension in my muscles start to loosen up. I took my time, not wanting to rush through the process of cleaning my body, as if somehow the longer I took, the more I could wash away the remnants of yesterday.

After my shower, I got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast. As I entered the kitchen, I saw my parents sitting at the table, sipping their coffee and chatting about something I couldn't quite hear. They both turned to me and gre
