“Xavier, you have to come home. Now.” John, my younger brother, says as I was driving towards our house. I was still in Los Angeles and I was planning to stay here for a couple of days. And now here he goes telling me to come back to New York when I haven’t had any time to rest for the day.
“What do you mean I have to come home?” I asked him. I’m still having this terrible headache from trying to figure out what the hell happened to Jasmine and my whole body is sore from driving and walking around.
“I think Mom and Dad messed up for real this time.” He says, he sounded really worried, which was weird because Johnny was nothing but the epitome of fun, while I’m stuck carrying all the responsibilities as the first son.
“Okay, tell me exactly what happened.” I tell him. If he’s just over reacting I might as well take a much deserved vacation home alone and teach him
