“What do you mean her phone is off?” I asked Sebastian who shook his head.

“The woman is in pain, what do you expect, Elijah?” Viktor asked “okay, say that you’re angry that she judged you based on the man dying. Don’t you at least care that she’s in pain too? You haven’t bothered looking in her direction since that happened…”

“She made her choice, and I believe that you saw that firsthand” I said stopping him.

“And you didn’t bother going after her, fighting her for it. Fucking hell, yell at her, let her yell back; then go back to normal. No? That didn’t occur to you, did it?” Viktor asked, snapping back at me. I had to fight back punching the idiot in the face as he glared at me.
