CHAPTER SEVENTY TWO

It was a Saturday and she decided to skip work, so she slept in, the scent of coffee had woken her up, Xavier had brought some coffee and she couldn't help but smile as she sat up.

"How are you feeling?"

"A little numb but okay"

"I would be going out to handle some business" he says and Amelia couldn't hide the disappointment, she wanted him to stay with her for the rest of the day but of course he was a busy man and the fact that he hadn't gone right before she woke up and had prepared her coffee on bed shows how changed he was now, she did like this new version of him and was hoping it would last forever... as long as it could.

"Shawn and Blake would be here, and please don't leave the house without informing them, that's if you could actually get past the gates without my men seeing you"

"No need to tell me how much of a prisoner I am" Amelia said with a smile

"No baby, you are not a prisoner, you are the owner of this house too, but I just want to keep you safe
