CHAPTER 21

Samantha and Brittany mad their way to where Don Russo was and stood close but not to close. Samantha looked up at the painting before her and she smiled.

“What are you smiling about?” Brittany asked loud enough for Don Russo and Luca’s ears to hear.

“I am smiling at the masterpiece before me Brittany.” Samantha replied elegantly.

“Honestly speaking I don’t see what you see.” Brittany answered.

“The painting speaks about a person’s loneliness even though they are surrounded by people almost all the time.” Don Russo’s deep voice said. Brittany pretended to be startled although she had seen him approach them slowly. Samantha smiled because their little discussion caught their attention.

“Oh, I see there is someone here who appreciates artwork as much as I do.” Samantha said as she turned around to look at Don Russo.
