The gifts and flowers he kept sending only made me laugh. He was a funny man. He would rather apologize with gifts instead of saying it verbally. Well, at least he apologized. He would have gotten away with it and I wouldn’t been able to do anything about the situation even if I wanted. I was thankful for his thoughtfulness.

“He still has to apologize verbally. I will not give him an easy pass”, I told myself and prepared to push him to the wall.

I made sure to snub his existence and gave him the silent treatment in a way that wouldn’t irritate him but leave him wondering. I would leave his space whenever he comes in and if I had to be there with him, I would pretend as if he never existed.

Even while doing all this, I was still keeping tabs on his health. I knew he had something he was battling for him to be that cold and having nightmares that made his sweat and violent like that but I wasn’t curious about exactly what it was.
