Chapter 38 - Fragments of Memory

The elevator doors opened. Regis had just arrived at the second basement level, where its top executives parked their cars.

His eyes scanned the area, searching for the red metallic Aston Martin he had used seven years ago.

His gaze settled on a man in his thirties wiping the windshield of his car. This was Albert Parker, Regis’s personal driver.

Regis walked over to him. Albert had been working for Regis since his recovery from the hospital seven years ago.

Although Albert was initially hired by Diego to monitor Regis’s movements, his performance had always impressed Regis.

Because of this, Albert was especially trusted to take care of and clean every car Regis planned to use.

Busy cleaning the rear window and humming a tune, Albert didn’t notice Regis’s presence and was startled when he saw Regis standing beside the car.

“Young Master,” Albert stammered, stopping his work.

Regis nodded slightly.

“Do you need to go somewhere?” Albert asked, puzzled.
