Chapter 115

Hazel’s POV

Laughing and crying at the same time, I hit him softly and I just couldn’t seem to stop. I was happy that he was fine because seeing him in that state of unconsciousness scared me.

“Why didn’t you tell me you were sick?” I asked as I hit him again but this time I was unable to because he caught both my hands in his and clasped them together.

“I didn’t want to bother you with my own issue,” he answered as he stared into my eyes, “did you really mean everything you said earlier?” He asked after a while of silence and I nodded.

I saw his lip curve as though he’d wanted to smile and I’d wanted to move my gaze away from him but I couldn’t. It felt as though my eyes couldn’t do anything else and I had no idea what came over me as I leaned into him to kiss him.

It was at that moment that I realized just how much I missed him all over again. I missed the feel of his lip on mine and the way his hands always send chills down my spine.
