Chapter 1

"Annyeonghaseyo hyungnim! (hyungnim refers to a boss, or a leader in a gang.)The Masquerade Party will be held at eight in the evening at Itaewon Room 135,", one of the boss' men reported.

"Okay good! Get ready and we will be heading to Itaewon any moment from now! I want to catch Choi Minjung myself and let that fucking asshole pay for swindling the "Diamond Kkangpae!", the boss said angrily.

His three men Hwangbu, Dong Hyun, and Gunwoo rode with him in the black van. These three have served him for a long time and are his most trusted men.

They are like quadruplets because they are wearing the same business suit and the same Venetian Mask Full Face. Their physiques are also the same, so no one can recognize which one of them is the real mafia boss and they can only be identified by the number of diamond tattoos on their left arms. The real mafia boss has three diamond tattoos, while his men have two. However, these three men show their faces but the boss does not so, none of them knows him.

After a few minutes, they arrived in Itaewon.

"Keep a sharp lookout! When you notice someone suspicious, chase him immediately! Arasseo?", ordered the boss.

"Ne, hyungnim!!!", the men uttered as they bowed their heads in great respect. Then, they went to the hall first where the Masquerade Party was being held.

While the boss was heading his way to the elevator, a certain woman caught his attention. He couldn't see her face because she was also wearing a mask, but he was sure the woman was beautiful in her sexy maxi dress, with her shoulder-length blonde hair, and slender body. She was also wearing a masquerade mask which means she would also attend the party. Unfortunately, he was not able to closely see her because he did not catch her in the elevator.

As soon as he arrived inside the hall, he immediately looked for his men to make sure that they were already in their posts. Suddenly, the woman he saw in the elevator a while ago caught his eyes again but immediately disappeared after some time.

After a while, the boss noticed a man wearing a leather jacket and a masquerade mask who was with a group of men. He thought the man was negotiating with them but as soon as the man noticed him, he suddenly stood up and quickly walked away from the party venue. The boss immediately pressed the in-ear monitor to order his men to chase the possible target.

"Go on separate ways while I'll go straight", the boss said to his men as he quickly followed the man who just left awhile ago. The man quickly ran when he noticed he was following behind. So he chased after him and no matter where he goes, he would never let him go. He saw him going to the restroom, but his eyes were dilated when the man suddenly came out and was holding a woman, pointing his gun at her head. He stared at the woman's face because she was no longer wearing a mask. He was able to recognize her because of the clothes she was wearing and the mask she was holding in her hand. He was certain that she was the woman he saw earlier.

"Stop following me around or I'm going to kill this woman!!!", the man said.

"Choi Minjung, kesekki!!! (You're son of a bitch). It seems you don't know me, you fucking asshole!!! I don't care even if you kill that woman! All I want is to kill you!!!", he shouted as he raised his gun.

But Minjung remained firm and tightened his grip on the woman's neck. But the woman moved abruptly and in just a second she completely unloaded the gun and flipped Choi Minjung onto the cold tiles.

The man writhed in pain as he fell to the floor. The boss came quickly and removed the mask covering his face.

"Shibal Shikya!!!. (son of a bitch) You think you can escape me Choi Minjung?"

Soon his men arrived and immediately ordered them to take the traitorous man away from the hall. Then, he suddenly remembered the woman who knocked Minjung down in just a second. He looked around but she was nowhere to be seen. He hastened his steps and looked for the woman. He went back to the hall, thinking he might see the woman inside but she was totally gone out of sight.

He went down because he needed to get back to the safe house to inflict punishment on the person who betrayed the organization.

When he got inside the van, he asked his men if they had noticed a woman earlier. But they just shook their heads and told them they did not.

"Why boss? Who was it?", Hwangbu asked curiously.

"She flipped Choi Minjung to the floor in just a matter of seconds. I was impressed by her speed and fighting skill. And I think I need her for the special mission. I want you to find her. Check her background as soon as possible!", he ordered roughly.

"Ne, hyungnim, (yes boss)".

"Okay, let's move back to the safe house. My hands are now very eager to beat up that fucking traitor in our group!", he said furiously.

After a few minutes they reached the villa. His men immediately took Choi Minjung down and brought him to the safe house's wide ground.

"Bring that traitor to me!!!", he ordered angrily. After a while, he placed a metal hand to inflict a painful punch.

"Boss, please have mercy on me!!! Joesonghamnida!!! (I'm sorry)", Minjung begged.

"How many times have I told you, I don't want a traitor!!! I don't want anyone to make mistakes because I can never give a chance!", the boss shrieked as he started stomping, kicking, and punching him. He did it over and over again until blood flowed from the man's nose and mouth.

"That's enough boss! Joesonghamnida!!!,"  his voice cracked.

"Now, tell me, why did you betray the organization??? Why? How much did the Black Eagle pay you to spy everything about the "Diamond Kkhangpae?"

"That's why the gun operation went awry last week because the Black Eagle ambushed my men and stole all the expensive guns? Do you know how much was lost??? huh!!!", the boss lashed out and his eyes were burning in rage as he continued to unleash painful punches at the man who was lying on the ground.

"Now, you can go to hell!!! Say hello to Satan because a traitor like you has no place to live in this world!!!", the boss shouted as he took out his gun and pulled the trigger without any hesitation.

Three consecutive shots rang out. Choi Minjung fell to the ground lying dead.

"Clean up the mess here in five minutes!", the boss ordered furiously.

His men obeyed as fast as the forked lightning while the mafia boss walked straight into his elegant mansion without even turning around.

He is Baek Chang Seol, the heartless mafia boss of the "Diamond Kkhangpae". He doesn't show his face so it remains mysterious to everybody. He can only be identified by a three-diamond tattoo on his left arm. No one dares to disobey him or suffer the merciless punishment he is capable of doing.

A beautiful lady was on her way home from the Masquerade Party she attended in Itaaewon-dong. Actually, it wasn't over yet, but because of what happened, she lost the desire to enter the hall again. She only went there because she wanted to gather information about the people who killed her father seven years ago. She also needs to find her long-lost mother. She does not know if her mom is still alive or if she was just like her father who was already six feet below the ground. Even if it takes a few more years to search, she still won't stop, until she will venture her revenge to the people who caused her miseries.

But when she entered the ladies' room for personal necessity, a masked man grabbed her and immediately pointed a gun at her. She was so shocked that she couldn't move, and the man dragged her out while holding her neck. And that's when another masked man arrived. She thought that man was indeed heartless for saying he did not care about her even if the man holding her would kill her. And if she doesn't know self-defense, it would probably be the end of her life.

But no! She can't die now because her mission is not over yet. She endured seven years of training just for her mission. She's been through a lot of hardships since the heartless men killed her father. She thought her mother was able to escape then, but she was held captive by those evil creatures. And so she needs to find out if her mom is still alive.

When she arrived at her condo, she immediately got dressed. She glanced at the large mirror on her dresser. She went closer and took a good look at her own reflection. She looks very different now. She was pretty then but she likes her look even better now. Her hazel eyes made her stunning to look at. She has long eyes lashes and a small pointed nose complemented by her V-shaped face and fuller-bodied pinkish lips.

She looked at her watch and it was too early for her to sleep. Suddenly she felt bored so she thought of going out to the bar. She changed her clothes and chose a simple blouse and blue jeans since she is not comfortable wearing a whole dress.  She put on her jacket and hid the knife under the lapel of it while tucking the gun into the waist of her pants. 

Riding in her car,  she sped up the road heading to the bar where she used to hang out. This is one of the most famous bars in Seoul so a lot of influential and powerful people from all over the country used to come to this place, and so she needs to get more information related to her mission.
