Nate's POV

I was still sitting there in my office, with my mind running through different thoughts because Jane had come to put me off my present dilemma.

She knocked on my door and came into my office, then she told me we had a site inspection we needed to do for now as the clients were already on their way there.

I had thought she didn't notice a change in my mood because I had tried to mask my current mood as she came into my office, but I guess I thought wrong or she probably just read my mind because she asked me if I was good immediately I had just thought about her not noticing my mood change.

I jinxed it, I guess.

Oh, of course, I'm good, I tried to put on a smiling face.

I'm only tired for the day and I'd completely forgotten about the site inspection we have scheduled for later today.

But don't worry about me, okay?

I checked through my table to see if I needed anything and I picked up my phone before leaving the office.
