Nate POV

I was back in my room reminiscing.

After the long conversation I had with my mother earlier, I was fueled even more to make sure to put everything right.

She was displeased at my brother's behaviour.

My brother has become a pain in the ass for my parents.

I used to think that he always acted up because I was around but after I left he became worse.

He is not doing my father proud at all and I could see how disappointed my father was in him.

I wanted to make everything right as soon as possible.

I would definitely make my father eat back his words concerning me.

His words that have haunted me for the longest of times. His words, which had said that I was a useless son.

Those words pricked my heart anytime I remember them and I have always used them as a driving force to be a better person.
