Garaine turned around only to find her husband sitting on the couch. She gulped nervously as she realized what would happen next. She tried to read her husband’s expression but since the room was dimly lit, she failed.

“You are supposed to be sleeping now. Why aren’t you sleeping?” Garaine spoke, trying to mask the anxiousness on her face.

“That’s not important, Garaine.” Weylin stood up and took a step forward. ”I'm not letting you off the hook today.”

Weylin’s voice was cold enough to send chills down her spine. Garaine lowered her gaze as she knew she had no escape today. It's natural for a loving husband to worry for his wife and Weylin was indeed a very loving husband. He was just worried about her.
