Chapter 42: Softened

Xavier pulled her up rather harshly. He tightly took a hold of her arm and yanked her over his side.

"What the hell?!" he hissed, surprised. His eyes were glaring as he looked at her. She was crying, looking so terrified whilst looking down at the man bathing with his own blood.
