Chapter 46: Unknown Message

I knocked on the door of his office before I entered. Khein was busily typing on his laptop while at the same time reviewing the paper I had given towards him earlier.

"Coffee?" I asked. He barely shook his head and uttered a quick no as he focused on his work. I smiled without him seeing it and respected his space and time. I exited his office right away then went to my own office to do my duty as well.

The day was long and very hectic. But that didn't make us have overtime. We value our personal time more than anything else in this world and we promised to always give enough time to spend with each other.

After having dinner at a restaurant, we just took a shower then slept. We were both tired of doing anything we usually do such as watching documentaries together, talking about some random books we had read, various car models, guns, etc.

But this time, we just laid down and slept peacefully.

This has become our routine for the next couple of days. Work has been piling up lately,
