Chapter 79: Sorry

She was eating her food rather angrily. The plate made a screeching sound every time her fork hit the plate. She was munching it disgracefully, but she didn't care.

Xavier entered the kitchen after a couple of minutes. He already took a shower and smells very nice. His biceps couldn't be hidden in his plain white shirt. He was so strong.

He opened the fridge and took out some milk and drank it right in front of her. There was a playful smirk on his lips as he looked at her. Margarette, on the other hand, almost killed the man in her mind because of the extreme thickness of his face.

"Are you still mad?" he asked the obvious as he closed the milk and put it back on the fridge. "I know you're still mad."

"Shut up."

"I'm sorry I didn't inform you beforehand. I was planning to surprise you," he said. "I know you're already bored being in this house for days and I thought that maybe bringing your and our daughter outside would make you at least happy. So please pardon my impudence."
