Chapter 81

Damian’s POV

It’s been almost six months with no news about Hazel and her whereabouts. I’d thought I was going to give her some time to cool off but that was the most stupid thing I could’ve ever done.

For six months, I’ve been going to her apartment in hopes that I was going to see and that wasn’t the only place where I would wait for her.

Today being one of those days, I sat in my car as I waited for the moment Hazel would step out. Alesha told me she’s gone out of town but she didn’t specify where she went.

I had a lot of plans, I’d thought I was going to take her to places and even ask her to be my wife on her birthday when Lillian showed up and ruined everything.

Getting out of the car, I saw Alesha get out of her apartment and I followed her to her car, she was oblivious to the fact that someone was following her.

“Oh my gosh,” she gasped when she turned and I was standing behind her, “Damian! You scared me.” She pointed out and I forced out a smile.

“You really should be more c
