It is unfortunate you don’t have a choice in this case and unless you want your boss to be looking like a fool when he gets here to pick you up, I will advise you to get up right now and make a quick run for it. Maybe, just maybe you can be ready before he gets here.” Walking towards me as she talked, she finished with a bossy glint in her saucy eyes and I blinked.

About to deny caring about my boss’s feelings, a picture of the man came to my eyes and I paused with a little frown on my face.

Of course, the last thing my boss will appreciate is a woman making a fool of him. In front of an audience especially.
