Maisie's POV:
Did I really do it? I did, I really did it. Wait, did I really speak out loud!? I realized I did speak out loud and it was a simple one-word answer. He then sat back a bit still with His arms wrapped around me. He even had His face leaning to the side a bit as He tried to look at my face. Seeing Him do this, I leaned back so I could look at His as well. He also seemed a bit shocked I said anything just now. Well, I guess I could try to speak with Him, even if it was a one-word answer. The question is now, what is going to happen? Will everything He said so far be a lie and I get punished?
"Baby girl, did you just say the word no?" He asked, letting me know I was right when I thought He was shocked.
"Y-yes," I said in another low whisper.
"I am pleased you are speaking with me," He said as He looked around the room before He looked back at me.
