The night was dark, but the air was warm as we made our way through the forest. Both Alphas walked beside me, leading the way to the clearing they spoke of. “Why are you avoiding me?” I stood in the doorway of Alpha Devin’s office, blocking Jasper's exit. “Move, Sophia.” His eyes narrowed dangerously and no matter how inclined I was to back down, Selene pushed me to stand my ground. “Answer me and then I will.” I crossed my arms over my chest, giving him my most stubborn look.
