Chapter 138. Barged In

Everest Stone walked past some guards and smiled at them. He walked in after one of the lambdas opened the door for him. The luxury apartment belongs to Jasper Kent. As Beta, Everest still has access to it. Only this time, he didn't enter through the private elevator but through the front door.

“Beta, have you arrived? Alpha is calling you," said one of the Gammas. Everest nodded and then followed him into one of the rooms.

Jasper Kent was neat in a black tuxedo with a bodyguard helping him. He turned to the door as Everest entered.

"You come?" Jasper still sounded cynical at Everest's arrival. They had not spoken for days before. Everest approached slowly with a calmer expression.

“Alpha, I came to explain everything that happened to you. What you hear is not the truth. Gabriel Xander has tricked you," said Everest politely. Jasper then gave his guards a code to leave them. He then approached and stood in front of Everest.

“How can I trust you again, Everest?” Jasper stood arrogantly
