Chapter 96. A Family I Should Have

Cody's little steps were leaving his room towards Gabriel. When he woke up this morning, he couldn't find his mom on the bed. While stroking his eyes, he kept walking to the main bedroom. Standing in front of the door, he knocked it a few times.

"Mommy!" Cody called Eva. He knocked again and waited. The house seemed so quiet as if no one was inside. Or it was just too early in the morning, and none of the people were awake yet.

"Mommy!" Cody called for more. After a few seconds, Cody opened the door. Cody straightened his eyes at a tall, giant man on the door. Gabriel stood before Cody with his muscular body, a robe, and black pants. The robe was opened as a sign that he had just woken up due to the knocks.

Cody asked Gabriel innocently, "Where's my mom?" Cody was so adorable, and it attracted Gabriel right away. His cuteness was immense. He then crouched down to Cody and smirked.
