Chapter 3

“He's gone.” I directed my gaze to the crowd, trying to catch a gaze of that man. I didn't even ask for his name...and how he knows mine bothered me before I even goes so far.

I realize why I even run that fast just because he able to know me...when I'm not.

It's my fault that I lost sight of him, so better forget what I'm even doing right now.

Sure he leave. I hope he do that.

The crowd only increase as the night deeper. I am lost...and no one possibly found me and shelter me. That's maybe why I'm trying to find that man. I sure save him from that situation earlier. However, how did someone like him know my name?

“That mysterious woman sure have an answer,” I thought while searching for a nearest exit. Only to find a crazy crowd dancing to the madness. I almost freak out, or am I?

In a snap of a seconds, I found myself catching my breathe outside the crowd.

“What's happening to- They are crazy!” The sounds filling the area take away the ounce of my sanity. It's disastrous, the rhythm determine the beat of my heart that went crazy. In madness!

“It's the fault of that woman!” Just as the sounds stop, my voice so loud and thundered every ears around, waking the cautious self inside me when they look as if I'm gone mad. Unethical!

“I'm-” before I can say my apology, the sound fills again, more and more disastrous than before. The few in the area went wild and I can't believe they don't actually bother by my presence.

I forgot this era...is so far from the one I know!

“I'm nothing but stranger in here!” As if a light poured through my being, I find myself shine bright. I scream, find shelter to the sounds that hide the loudness of my voice. It fill me with excitement.

“I'm finally free!”

As if the misery faded away, as if miracle descend finally I able to smile the brightest. I forgot how I lost, how I mind constantly to able to live this place.

Adapting is one thing, but how to find shelter in the changing world?

My excitement drop, hear the familiar laughter of those people I once acquinted. Or still acquinted in this place? I reminded somehow ot how that man knows my name... Perhaps because of them?

I can't help but peek through the wall. They are four of them, flockng around.

“-I can't believe he comeback!” the last thing I hear from the man who raised his voice, unable to contain the scorn.

“I hear because Gab been pursuing his little brother-” said by the man who has a shaky voice, interrupted by the other one who looking around as if afraid for something.

“He's his big bro,” though sounded unshakeable goons.

“Ah, yeah, his big brother-”

“I wonder what that Gab trying to show us?” ask while still looking around.

“Surely to show us he have a family-”

The one been silent this whole time sneered, silent the two, while the other scorn even more. His gaze intense, trying to show them he's confidence. “He's thought to address before the diety Arsy,” his voice gentle this time, gone the sneered. “So what do you think Gab trying to show us?”

“It's his family-”

“Surely to threatened us!”

“I can't believe you both think that way? You, especially, Haru.” The scorn take over as he face the man who highly stood infront of them, as if know too much than him.

Haru, the man who's sneered appear, gone the gentle voice as he said mysteriously, “You're young to understand how they value faith than family.” He smiled, barely seen his angelic face. “Well, that's just the tale I hear from himself.”

They look each other, gone the differences, and exclaimed to their heart content their discontentment. “You liar!”

I clutch my chest, able to analyze where they come from. Especially the silent one who's name Haru gives me more than what I'm needed. I assume they are talking that man...I'm barely able to know.

“Arsy, huh?” I smiled, waiting for the four to disappear behind the walls. “Gab's ...big bro?”

I know them...except they have a change of identity. Or am I wrong that I know this people? Yet Gab...haven't change his.

I sigh. “In this state, it sure take a lifetime,” I softly whisper and chuckle, thinking the mysterious woman who suddenly become irrelevant. “Whatever. She's no way to appear if I want to. What's wrong taking a liking with that strange man?”

Just a snap of a moment, I'm in the roof. The bus driver hummed in his heart content, the same driver that I earlier got a fight with. Yeah, I got a fight earlier. Who in his right mind let go someone like myself who don't pay for fleight?

“You've change too much!” He glared, clutching his chest and unable to breath properly. He's someone I can't stand about, so I shrugged and left.

Basically a one-side fight. He'll lost on me for sure if I able to say a words earlier. Yet I wonder what he's trying to say. Do I fail to pay everytime?

The thought of it cringe me so I suddenly came to mind this weird...yet safest idea. I can felt the night here, the blows of wind gives me familiarity that just enough for me to finally found rest.

I can't help but smile by the darkness, and then came the old day that barely peek through the darkness.

“I wonder what happen if I escape?” I thought that way while trying to fall asleep, to stand the course of time that changing...so slowly.

Yet the thought of escape only worsen the situation.

The possibility played inside my head; I have no space in the world that changing.

No home...and no one there to receive someone such myself.

Someone...stained the diety's name.
