That Night
POV Kitty
Cash and Locke guided me back down to our room quietly. We didn't want to risk being overheard. We finally got to the door and the guards parted for us as Locke typed in the code.
"I need this code changed tonight. We've had some new developments and Nick is no longer allowed in this room or near any of the witches. He knew the old code so have someone switch it as soon as possible and inform me of the new one." Locke commanded one of the guards as we walked in.
I was surprised to see the look of relief visible on the guards face and looked at him puzzled. He noticed and shot me a small smile.
"I'm glad that she will be safe from him. I will get right on it. It is my top priority." the guard stated.
Locke nodded.
"Thank you." I whispered to him as we passed.
"My pleasure, Miss." he softly replied.
I really hoped that he wouldn't fight us when it came time for us to leave.

POV KittyThe next morning I was nervous about the group coming to the Lair. I hoped that nothing would go wrong and that they weren't walking into a trap. Locke came to say goodbye as we were finishing breakfast."I'm off to the pack." he announced."Just be safe and try to get them to agree to allow the others to join them. POV CraigI woke up with a gasp and jumped out of bed. I threw on some clothes and ran towards Coltons room while I mind linked Patrick, Zeke, and Owen. POV KittyI tightened my grip on Neil's shoulders as he soared down the stairs. Suddenly, we heard a loud bang above us."Time to get out of the stairwell." Locke yelled.We ran through a door as we heard several more doors bang open and shut below us."Do you think they made it to the bottom floor?"
