Castaway:
Danica watched the men pick up the tentacles and drop them back into the sea. Their nerves were on edge, still waiting for another attack from the monster of the deep. Everyone was just waiting. A few men began mopping up the creature's blood trying to keep busy as they made their way through the passage. Kaleb was on guard and couldn't seem to relax. She never thought any of this would happen on this sea voyage. Kaleb sensed her guilt and walked over to her.
“You alright?” He asked quietly, his eyes still scanning the ship’s sides.
“I’m ok we will be better once we're out of here and I know everyone is safe again.” Danica said letting a little piece of her guilt out.
“Danica, this isn't your fault, this could have happened to any ship that came through her
Storm:Ariadne stood on the upper deck watching the horizon . She stared at the spot that used to be where Raven Peak was. A cold breeze had picked up and she wrapped her arms around herself trying to keep warm. Jonah was still staring. She couldn't get her mind off the birds. Did Dani have to face them too? Did she get through them? She had never thought about dangers like that? The more she thought about her sister, the more her stomach pitted and turned into knots. She had just assumed that they were sailing along peacefully to some island, maybe worse case getting into a little storm but bird attack no. She hugged herself deeper.“You all right?” Patrick's voice asked, coming up from behind her.“Aye just thinking.” Ariadne answered not turning to him.
*Chapter Contains sexual content*My Captain:Patrick kicked open the captain's quarters door stepping into the cabin carrying Ariadne. Her heart was beating rapidly in her chest as she hung on to him. She could feel every muscle in his strong chest as her wet clothing clung to every inch of her. As quickly as he kicked it open he kicked it shut. His mouth found hers as soon as the door slammed behind them. Ariadne’s fingers entwined into his hair as she returned his feverish kiss. Warmth spread over her body as his tongue caressed hers. He let her legs slowly hit the floor as the kiss intensified, his hands going for the buttons on her shirt. His fingers tightly grasped the side of her shirt and tugged fiercely, the buttons ripped away from her shirt falling open to the side. She inhaled against his lips as she felt the cold air rush over h
Beach: The sand was warm and gritty feeling as her knees crashed into it. Danica dug her fingers in it as she leaned over bracing herself. She inhaled deeply, she was desperately trying to catch her breath. The water from the ocean dripped off of her and puddled into the sand. She watched it turn the sand a dark gray color as she calmed her burning lungs. She had jumped out of the row boat as they neared the shore and helped pull the rowboat in. She felt a strong arm slip under hers and help pull her up to her feet. “You alright Captain?” Kaleb said to her his hands lingering on her. “Aye.” Danica answered leaning back into him a little bit as she looked around. The island was covered in white sand that led to a wooded area. Judging by how the tr
Uncharted: Danica stretched, arching her back and raising her hands above her head. She let out a small groan as she did. Her outward hand reached into the sandy grit. Touching the sand she remembered where she was. She opened her eyes. The Sun was just peeking above the ocean and the tops of the waves were etched with its golden rays. She sat up pulling the jacket around her. She looked down at the simple brown jacket. She inhaled deeply and knew right away whose jacket it was. His scent made her feel warm, he smelt like freedom like the wind blowing in wide open spaces. Adventure. He smelt like the earth on a cold day. She found herself wrapping herself in it as she stood. She didn't realize it but her eyes were scanning the beach for him; Kaleb. “Morning Captain, what be the plan today?” A man cradling his own coat to himself asked her.
Scars:Ariadne wrapped herself in the warmth next to her. She nuzzled her head into the warmth as her toes curled. Her foot slowly rubbed against his leg subconsciously as she melted into the feeling. She could stay like this, she thought not wanting to open her eyes. She listened to his soft heart beat. The sound of it was better than any music she had ever heard. The rise and fall of his chest was begging her to fall back to sleep. She couldn't tell if he was still asleep, her eyes wanted to peek and look but she was afraid. Afraid that if she opened them and looked, the world would come rushing in and everything that she needed to handle would be waiting for her. She didn't want that, she wanted to stay in this small paradise where no one asked anything of her and she could just be.“We can't stay like this forever.” Patrick whispered to her.
Memories: Patrick watched the door shut and her fiery red hair disappear. He quickly found his shirt and pulled it over his head. He gritted his jaw thinking of his father. He said too much he shouldn't have told her. He stared down at the wooden floor. An image flashed in front of his eyes. Loud noises of yelling and dishes breaking. He could still feel the stairs creaking between his feet as if he was walking down the stairs in his old home. The yelling stopped as he reached the kitchen. He was scared, he didn't know why at the time but he felt like something bad was in the kitchen. Like there was a monster waiting for him. He was twelve and didn't believe in monsters anymore. He took a deep breath and walked into the kitchen. Porcelain dishes were shattered about the floor, his mother on the floor leaning against the kitchen cabinet. Tears stained her very red face.“Mother?” Patrick whispered. Her eyes grew wide as she shook her head at him and told him to go with
Trance: “This way.” Danica yelled as she rounded another corner, the men growing tired as the jungle around them became dark. They had been walking for hours, the jungle growing thicker and darker as they walked. Danica wasn't stopping. She was not even really with them. Jacob had called to her a few miles back asking her to slow her pace but she acted like she didn't even hear them. This was the first time she had spoken or awkledged them since she veered off the path. She wasn't using any directional tools, no compass, no map, she hadn't even looked at the map she was clutching tightly in her fist. She couldn't see the stars the Jungle had locked out the sky. That was it Kaleb had enough of whatever this was. He moved up in the group he had hung back making sure everyone was ok.“Dani!” He called up to her as he began to push his way through the men.The men did their best to move aside but the path they started on was getting smaller and smaller as th
Haunting:Danica stretched into him, Kaleb’s warm body pressed against as he wrapped his arms around her. He had made them a spot in the inner part of the clearing, his eyes staring into the surrounding trees as if he was waiting for something before he actually decided to settle down. Danica’s yawning was his final giving point. He had laid out a blanket one handed before laying down on it and pulling him against her. Kaleb wasn't kidding when he said he wasn't letting her go. He held her hand everywhere she went that night and when it was time to finally laid down and get some sleep. He did just what he said. He laid down and pulled her into his arms. She chuckled curling up into him. Turning over in his arms, She rested her head on his chest and listened to his heart beat. Kalebs strong arms encased her. She looked up at the millions of stars looking down on them and studied them.“They are beautiful. More beautiful than anything I have ever se
