Jade rolled her eyes at me before returning her attention back to Lucien.

“How can I help you, Mr Lucien?” She asked him.

“Can I talk to you privately, Jade?” He asked.

“What? Jade? Look here…” I said angrily but before I could finish my statement Jade pushed me in, locking the door. I stared at the door in shock, blinking rapidly as I tried to process the fact that Jade, a petite wolf half my size, had just been able to push me back a couple of feet.

I wondered if her powers had ever exposed themselves before. However, I doubted it. She didn't even know who she truly was, she probably had had random outbursts of strength and power that she would not have paid attention to.
